Photos uploading sideways

Can anyone help here?

When I upload photos to post or reply to a thread, sometimes they come thru sideways.

Not always but maybe 75% of the time.

I don't take the original pic sideway and its not saved sideways uploading to this site.

I don't see an "EDIT" option to correct it.
Sideway photos suck....Help

That happened to me when I was new at it, now I always re-size my images to 2MP before posting and notice none of them post sideways. Coincidence?

Now I expect the next picture I post to go sideways!
