Anyone have a video - front lower grille replacement?
I am trying to replace my front lower grilles - the new ones are all painted and ready to be installed. Do I need to take off the entire bumper? I have the right, center, and left with fog lights.
Saw some videos on youtube, but they took both front tires off and I am wondering if I can do it without doing all that lol Thanks in advance all! |

Removing a front bumper cover on any car is not nearly as hard as people who have not done it think it is. You do not absolutely have to remove the front tires usually, but you do need to pull back the wheel well liner to access the fasteners where the bumper cover meets the front fender, so wheels off gives you much more room to work. I can have the bumper cover off my 650i in 15 minutes, and a chunk of that is disconnecting the night vision camera, which most cars don't have. The hardest part is typically figuring out how the wiring harnesses unclip - manufactures always like to make those a puzzle.

Update: I actually took it to a local shop and had it done, it was pretty cheap and they did a great job
