I don't know... a couple months ago I asked our dealer if he thought they would bring a 1-series xi. He replied with a pretty firm no, but he may have just been thinking for 2008. He rationalized it saying that the AWD adds a lot of weight (which it sort of does) and that it wouldn't really be in keeping with the idea of the 1.
But you could be right, I guess your guess is as good as mine, and probably as good as any client advisor's right now. |

No there will be no four wheel drive platform for the current 1er Platform . BMW see no point in having a four wheel drive small coupe. The next generation platform will form the base for the announced X1 not the current car.
