You can see a BMW G60 i5 in this video multiple times in front of the i7 M70. Hopefully the embargo for the reviews on the i5 will be sometime next week.

Many people choose the i7 over the bubble looking EQS, and many buy the ICE version over the S class.
The 7 series is bigger, more powerful, and has more tech than the S class, so it was a pretty easy decision for me. |

I can only tolerate their videos when it’s just one person - like this one. Watching them do their typical walkie-talkie jerk-offs is annoying AF.

Agree, and I road tested an S before I got my 7. Not just bigger and more powerful but the 7 handles like a smaller car and the S handles like a big car. I didn't get a chance to test drive an S with 4 wheel steering but it wasn't just the steering; it was the way the suspension is tuned. The 7 IMHO navigates road imperfections as well or better and handles curves significantly better. I also prefer idrive even with all of its imperfections, to Mbux, which is significantly harder to use. Having seen Mbux for an extended period in my wife's '23 E450 wagon, I would say it is better than previous MBux versions but remains frustratingly complex and not at all intuitive,

Well, if this smarmy little Brit GAVE me one, I'd take it. Otherwise, besides the extra HP and magical "M" badging, it's virtually the exact same car as the xDrive60 and eDrive50 (and ICE G70s too). So, since I won't be taking a $169K luxury car -- as he said, "the iPhone 15" of cars -- to the track, I believe I'll stick with my i7 eDrive50 at $60,000 less, thankyouverymuch.

I still wonder if there is anyone who truly likes this weird wheel design? It does not look like a design effort but more of "let's put on whatever we can get our hands on" move!

I don’t get how MB made such a beautiful S class but the EQS looks like the cheapest car from the 70s. They’re having trouble selling them and are offering some big discounts.
As for me, the only electric car I’d consider buying is one of those remote control ones, my kids love those! |
