Cameras not working after the remote upgrade

I have the 2023 BMW 760, and with the latest remote upgrade trouble has restarted. The following message appears “the upgrade or activation will be resumed automatically shortly” but nothing happens, plus none of the cameras work. When you press the parking button in the center console, usually the cameras turn on, but now nothing!
Because of the weekend, no help from BMW it seems. I tried to reboot by pressing the volume button, but no response.
Any ideas?

Are you updating from car direct OTA or from the My BMW App?
The volume button reset requires 70 second hold. I assume you knew that.

If OTA to car it needs to receive the signal. Usually this can be done while driving, but one update I did wanted the car stationery where signal can be received.
If neither giving it time nor reset work, it will need a dealer. I'd book an appointment and then see if the update completes. If it does you can always cancel.

Sorry I can't offer more.

I had an update showing in the app a few days ago and downloaded it. I didn't get to my car until today and it says "remote software upgrade no longer available". The message says the upgrade "has been withdrawn." I suspect the issues OP identified were a bug. Lesson is dont upgrade immediately when the upgrade becomes available.

I have been on .53 for the last several months. Maybe there are different versions for Canada?

Ahh yes, good point. I'm sure there is (even something as basic as KPH vs MPH standard would be a good example)

Same thing happened to me as well. I thought there was something wrong with the download or the transfer, but reading the comments above, sounds like bmw identified a bug and pulled the update. Glad I didn’t install it.
