still pretty high. Including the 3 series as well. I guess the good lease rates are long gone.
I've been following the lease rates on the 335i sedan for the past 7 months, and it either stayed the same or it got worse. |

Tarry, I'm looking to go with leasecompare in a few days and you discuss a 10,000 mile per year lease, but on the website, leasecompare does not allow a 10,000 miles/yr option. I'd love to do this cause i typically drive 6-7,000 miles per year and it would save me money, so I'm curious if this actually is an option. I tried private messaging you, but I guess you have them turned off. Hope you see this.

The rates I post here are for BMWFS programs. The lowest mileage option offered by our lease sources is 12K per year.

leasecompare deal
leasecompare is showing a lease deal that offers a money factor of .00177 .
this deal only shows up if you put in certain criteria. i was interested so i kind of messed around and found some boundaries to this deal the car i optioned out came out to an msrp of $39,500. $42,265 after tax. also I did not check if this deal works on any other zip codes, but the one i used was 45233 this is the information i put in on there site for this deal to show up: msrp : $39,500 purchase price: $42,265 odometer: 0 transmission: manual credit score: 700 (must be at least 700 for this deal to appear) down payment: 2750 (must have down payment of at least 2750 for this deal to appear, i put in 3000 at first and it worked, so i checked to see how low it would go) number of miles driven per year: 12000 (it seems that any mile combination works for this deal) lease term: 48 months(36 and 48 months are the only two options that this deal show up on) |

Hey Tarry,
Guess your mailbox must be full then. I did have a few questions though. 1) I wanted to ask when the best time is to apply for a lease at leasecompare. I want to wait as long as possible because rates may go down further, but want to leave enough time to get everything approved and ready to go. So, can they go down at any time, or are there certain days/dates where the rates update? 2) Should I negotiate the price first with the dealer or get approved first? Please let me know as I will be applying either this week or next (car set to arrive ~ 4/21) |

Answers: 1) You are not locked into the lease program that you apply for. Check again right before your vehicle arrives to make sure you are getting the best program. 2) The process can be faster if you get pre-approved. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
