Driving Mode Question...

When I test drove a 760i over the weekend...i tried out the driving modes. When I put into Sport...and other modes...it opened the roof sunshade, started massage, etc....and when I went back into the "normal" mode....everthing kept going....

my question...can I disable all this other "stuff" in the different modes...and just get the core driving dynamics of each? Or is everything preset and not adjustable?

Many thanks!!

In the i7, you can adjust certain settings in some modes but not in other modes.

It would make more sense (with perhaps a few exceptions) to allow each mode to have the same group of settings to adjust.

So in Digital Art, Expressive, or Relax Mode....can you turn off the massage/sunshade/other stuff in the Settings?

Or, if you select one of these...are all these other functions happening every time the mode is turned on?

Thanks!

Not sure. You'll have to see in car. Each mode has different options appear.

as mentioned, each mode can be adapted only there where BMW thinks it's needed.

it's not mymode it's BMWmode
that a default startup mode can't be set is also something not comprehensible (or bogus explanation to protect the brand experience)

there *MIGHT* be a change coming...

Agree. I would love to be able to start in a mode as modified and have that as default.
