Mozsly watch winder

Just got myself a Mozsly watch winder. Thought I would get one before the tariffs kick in. It has four rotation speeds and three choices of rotation directions. And it is super quiet when running. Also has two different pillows for your watch depending on how long the band is. I am very impressed.

Been over a week now. Winder works great. Omega watches seem to need the slowest speed of 650 winds per day. I am very happy with the purchase.

P.S. The watch is a Seamaster James Bond 60th anniversary.

I have had one for years. First one the motor stopped, but was able to buy a replacement motor and fix myself cheaply....no problems since. I also have an Omega Seamaster Titanium.

Surprised that there aren’t many comments on this thread. I am sure some of you are using watch winders. I know Wolf is the standard but the Mozsly is a close second.

Oddly enough, I'm a fan of winding my watches before I wear them. Kind of like a little ritual. It's obviously more of a pain with GMTs but it's all good.

Very much agree on the Mosely.

My wife has a single-watch Wolf and honestly? The quality and how they work seems to be very similar.

My only complaints on the Mosely?

1. I'm not too fond of the "screw on/screw off" dust cover. A door is a lot easier.

2. I wish they made something bigger than a dual-watch. OR, at least make them stackable. Since they're covered in leather (or something like that), if you tried to stack them, you'd end up ruining one with the weight of the other.

They come with a cable to daisy-chain together, but The Minister isn't.... thrilled about the idea of having a row of watch winders.

Sigh. Happy Wife, etc.....

Thanks for mentioning the size of the pillow inserts which is extremely important and something many people overlook when buying a winder!

Even though it is stackable, I'm surprised that you didn't plan ahead and by a double or triple winder.

Probably should have. But two singles are almost the same price as a double. So not much of a penalty.

I’m looking at some of the winders on their website and I have to say they’re very reasonably priced. They give you a much better bang for your buck than buying a Wolf winder like I have. 👍

Buy from Amazon to skip the current tariffs.

Remember that your watches are running continuously while in the winder, thus accelerating wear and tear and speeding up service intervals as well.

In theory yes in practicality no. Very little if any difference. Some even argue that it is better because the parts are continuously lubricated.

That's like saying letting your car idle all day is better as well. Just make sure you run it periodically if stored

You forgot that manual watches were designed to be run 24 hours a day 365 days a year. So not like idling a car.

Exactly, I know a person that wears his Omega Seamaster 24/7. I think that the only time he took it off in the past year was when he went for a MRI.
