G80 Rim Cleaning

Ordered a pair of these bad boys from Mr Bezos and his crafty little Company. You may have heard of it..
Anyway, hopefully these will cut the cleaning time of the rims and give better results. I'll post a review if anyone cares.

I found the iron remover works well with a brush, spray off, then quick wipe down with 500GSM microfiber polishing towel.

That's what I was using too. I always end up using my hands to get in the tough spots so I figured these Elmo gloves would do the trick

Garage List
I also use Sonax Plus prior to ceramic coating. Though I buy it in bulk to refill the sprayer. The amount in the sprayer lasts for ~ 8 wheels.

I use a similar glove and find them great for cleaning wheels.

So I bought the Sonax plus on Amazon. Its under 100 bucks so about 25 bucks cheaper than most other places. Comes Tues. Try that out next weekend.

The gloves are ok. Not great. Prob because they are really thin. Need something with more thickness and cleaning surface. Just feels like I'm using a regular glove to clean with my fingers. Oh well... I guess what did I expect for $8.

I recently got this Sonax microfiber glove from Amazon. It made wheels cleaning soooo much easier. (front and back of the spokes) Got a second one for the rest of the car and also made carwashing a simpler chore.

why all the Elmo hate?

I also have a Chemical Guys microfiber wash mitt... holy cow that thing was heavy after it soaked up the suds and water. I thought I was imagining it until I weighed it while wet. almost 5 pounds! no wonder my wrist was always tired after washing the car.

but it's a nice green...

Just ordered a set as well, I suspect when wet they will be thin enough to reach behind spokes for proper cleaning.
