Hi everyone,
I wanted to hear from anyone who currently has, or previously had, the Yokohama AdvanSport V107 tyres, whether they came as OEM on your i7/7 or you changed to them yourself. My i7 came with them OEM on 20" wheels. I’m particularly interested in how they feel in everyday driving, especially in terms of ride comfort and tyre noise compared to other tyres of the same size? It would be really helpful to hear any impressions from those who’ve used them for a while, whether you found them smooth and refined, or a bit firm and noisy. Thanks in advance to anyone who shares their experience ![]() |

I ordered my 2024 I7 xDrive60 with 19” wheels and it came with the AdvanSport V107 tires. Around town, they were fine, but on less than ribbon smooth roads at highway speeds, they would absolutely ROAR! It was pretty much “THE” one & only serious complaint I have about the I7 and I am VERY critical about vehicles.
They lasted about 10,000 miles and wore unevenly. I got the dealer to comp an alignment and discount a set of Pirelli PZ4 tires. I like these tires better. They seem to be quieter than the Yokohama's, but I have not driven on a poor highway surface since I got them, so I can’t say for sure. I believe that BMW needs to take steps to further insulate the passenger cabin from tire/road noise at highway speeds and hope the upcoming refresh model addresses this issue. I also feel that BMW should have Pirelli or another premier tire manufacturer build a tire specifically for the G70, with noise reduction technology. |
