Driving assistant Professional

I am ordering a new 2026 750e and selling my M850 GC and a new X3 M50 but what is holding me and My dealership is that suddenly when We went to put the order trough the
" Driving Assistant Professional " ( which i have in my other two cars and I use it a lot in traffic ) is not showing up as an option , not on the website under " Build your Own " or at the dealership .
what it is interesting is that it was as an option two weeks ago when I started putting together all the packages and options for the new 750e ?
any ideas on what is going on ?

Thanks .

Looks like there is a bug on the website… It’s still available for the X7 and most of the entire lineup. Your dealer should be able to make a few calls instead of relying on the web-portal.

I did a quick check and the website shows the “Drive Assist Plus”, which is the name for a much older drive assist system, as an option under the Premium or Executive pacakges.

No matter what happens, make sure to not let your build go through without the Drive Assist Pro and the Highway Assist (the hands-free driving is the best feature I love about this car). Looks like you know that already anyway. Would be curious about your experience once you get the 7 coming from the 8-series. I had an Alpina B8 before the i7. The 8-series was one of the finest vehicles I ever had; it’s crazy to think that BMW was able to build a car that is as sporty as the 8-series (even better the B8), yet that comfy, large and balanced for all uses. My expectations were VERY high coming from the B8 to the i7, but the i7 didn’t let me down. Congrats on the potential move anyway.

Thanks ,
I Love the M850GC but since I don't drive long distances in our small Beach Town , it was becoming more impractical to have a V8 , also I added The Performance option so it"s a BEAST !.
And like you said The M850 is one of the best cars I have ever owned
that is why i got the X3 M50 which is a very fast sporty small SUV . just it doesn't work for my needs right now .
I owned many years ago a 2000 750L and 2017 740i and I loved both so much , so I hope this new 2026 750e will be a great one !

Looks like Driving Assistant Professional is now part of the Executive Package. It is not clear if that includes Highway Assistant.

UPDATE :
The fleet manager who I have been buying Bmw's for the last 25 years + contacted BMW and after 3 days they just responded that that option is not available temporarily because they don't have the parts .
This is in all 7 series BMWs because as it was mentioned any other BMW this option is available !
very weird and not really making lot of sense ?
Besides The fleet Manager checking , I am going to check periodically to see when it is going to be available , hopefully soon .

It’s the same option, but not the same part as in other cars, my guess. The G07 has L3 autonomous driving certification in europe/germany with it’s hands-free highway driving (and up to certain speed you can even watch video and not look at the screen). So, I think the part is different, and since it’s only used in the 7, maybe wait couple weeks and see when the part and option is available again. This is a very important package and am pretty sure BMW will do their best to bring it back to the order guides asap.
