New Paint & PPF
A few weeks ago a deer attacked my Z4. Had to replace the front bumper, left fender & quarter panel, hood, driver door.
Just got the car back. All parts freshly painted. Insurance is paying to replace PPF on parts. Question: How long do I need to let the paint cure before applying PPF? TIA Duncan |

Personally, I’d wait 30 days. |

It's also a good idea to talk to your painter, but the 30 days has been mentioned before.

I waited 30 days to install PPF on a repaired section of the car.

I would ask both but 30 days was what I was told by my PPF shop a few years ago.

Thanks all. I also had 2 installers tell me 30 days minimum - perhaps a little longer given cold weather.

I had the same thing on my 335, hit a deer, repainted the front end, did PPF after 30 days and it was fine.
