Dirty taillight

The tail lights on my 2024 g82 have this dirt on them on the upper part.
I allocated the car, so I am the original owner.

It's getting worse and bothering me.
Is this a known issue?
Is there any way to get this out?
Is it a faulty light and I need to tell the dealer?
It's on both tail lights.

I attached some pictures below.

Thank you.

I'm thinking it's just built-up/trapped dirt between the gasket and the back of the light. Not sure what you did to try and clean it so please don't take my response as in insult. Did you try and shoot a stream of water in the gap to flush it out? I think if the light seal were broken you would have condensation within the housing itself. Talk to the dealer but I think it's just a challenging spot to clean not a defective product. Pollen/dust/dirt in your area.

Yeah, it looks like pollen to me, which is going to be tough to keep out of there. Most pollen has a very small particulate size, so it's going to be able to more easily pass through the gaps in a gasket and the panel, etc. You might have to remove the tail light housing to really clean it out.

Yeah it's a mixture of pollen and dust. Spraying it with the hose doesn't help. I might have to pop both taillights out to get a better look at them. Is that a pain to do?

Car is going to the dealer next week anyway, so I'll bring it up.

Disconnect the wiring plug & pop the four plastic tabs to gain access to the hardware.

Looks like the only alternative is to pop the taillight out and see if itll come out/off.
