Winter [SAFE] Carwash in North NJ

Hey all!

Just looking for a basic exterior car wash to function as a maintenance wash during the winter.

Are there any good self service (preferably with spotless rinses) locations or even trusted handwash car wash places (that take their time and do not rush increasing chances for swirl marks) in North NJ you can recommend?

I don't want to go through a touchless wash despite having a ceramic coating and I do not trust handwash places for the most part. So I am looking for something to help me just spray some of the salt off the car even if it isn't perfect. I wash my car by myself usually but need something to compensate for the winter months.

Any rec would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I don't have anything NJ-specific for you, but what I'll sometimes do if it's just too damn cold for a regular wash is to take it to one of those self-wash places that have power washers and use that to rinse the car off. It's obviously not a wash, per se, and I absolutely wouldn't use their stupid brush, but it's good enough to get the dirt and grime off the car without having to pull out my power washer and freeze.

Kind of a compromise strategy during the winter, for me.

Any places with contact wash will marr your paint, no exceptions. Your best bet would be to find a self service wash and go there with 1. pump sprayer foam gun, like an IK sprayer that has Bilt-Hamber Touchless mixed into it. Alkaline cleaner that will dissolve the most salt/road grime. 2. battery operated blower, such as EGO.

Rinse car with the high pressure gun, no need for the trigger the base pressure is more than enough
Foam it up with BH Touchless and let it dwell
Rinse car again with the gun
Blow dry with your leaf blower

No touching to swirl up the paint and will do a good enough job to get the salt and grime off until you can wash the car. Use the ceramic coating for it's intended purpose. Been doing this routine for years and the paint is fine come spring.

EDIT: if you really want to be thorough, bring a Home Depot bucket with a lid that has rinseless mix in it and several MF towels soaking. Contact wash the car after the second rinse with the rinseless. You only need enough rinseless to soak the towels, about 1 per panel.
