you do realize that these parts can be had at pretty much any aftermarket shop for (I would assume) a fraction of the price. And please dont say but the quality......because its plastic crap painted black, its all the same!
to each their own though!

no they can't dood! None of the parts that I've seen are the satin black colour that these are and few of them have matched. I've looked! Especially with the tail pipes
I don't agree with your point on quality as just googling now for how to install them loads of people are complaining about cheap knock offs and the paint flaking and bubbling!

Those front grills are really nice. Someone posted a pic before comparing them to the BMW performance ones. Side by side the difference is very clear IMO - the edition ones have significantly more gloss and a different tint to them. Congrats!

Good move, just got mine this week as well although the sides are still at the stealer for me to collect.
As for the quality issue, I can assure you that there is a world of difference between the BMW ones and aftermarket. I had matt black after market ones on my E60 M5 and when it came to removing them it was almost impossible to do so without breaking clips. I ended up just smashing them to bits to take them out as I got so pissed at the poor quality. Last edited by chrisburns; 02-15-2010 at 09:22 AM.. |
