Point Blank: Does your car pull to the right?
Question: Does your car pull to the right?
Please note I am not referring to road crown causing it to drift to the right. Last edited by dbs600; 10-02-2011 at 05:50 PM.. |

You will find a lot of owners complaining about the same problem on their car accross the BMW range. Still not a clue why it happens!

Our 330d pulls slightly to the left when giving it a boot full. This could be tyre wear though as in the UK, we have such a thing called roundabouts. And if you live in Milton Keynes (God help you), your car will obviously experience more tyre wear on the left side. This means that when accelerating hard, the left tyre doesn't get as much purchase as the right tyre so this can send the car to the left.

Mine doesn't (pull to the right or left for that matter).

Thank you for your replies guys. All alignments have been performed by BMW dealerships – three at Rallye and one at Hassel, the last one of which was the only one I paid for, as it was in anticipation of lemon law arbitration, which was held this past week. In short, my car suffers from what many are reporting on the F10 5 Series forum, for which there is a supposed fix.
Otherwise, MB: Does your car have Active Steering? Mines does not, as I have xDrive, and Hassel charged me $250 + Tax. Last edited by dbs600; 10-02-2011 at 05:53 PM.. |
